cdata closing tag passing through to page

Hi,
Looking for a solution to creating a code block for server side code, including PHP. Using a standard DataDef textarea, I can get Cascade to swallow my code, if I wrap in CDATA tags. However, there is always an closing CDATA tag: ]]> output at the end of my html. Why would this be?

    thanks, this is the same issue we are discussing in a private forum - this is our code block issue. There are some sample files in here that might be useful to that discussion, but as I didn't have any follow up on this one in many weeks I had considered it to be dead.
